To properly measure for your shades, determine whether you want an inside or outside mount. Shades can be made to the nearest 1/8″.

Inside Mount

An inside mount is a shade that will be seated inside of a window sill. Measure the width first, then the height. We will make the necessary width deductions to insure the shade will fit exactly between the left and right brackets. This deduction allows for the room taken up for the mechanisms. Please specify desired chain position as left or right. 

Outside Mount

An outside mount is a shade that will be seated outside of a window sill and/or window trim. Measure the width first, then the height. In this case you would provide the width you would like the fabric to be, from edge to edge. We will then add 1-1/8 to that dimension, and approximately 3″ to the height, to provide complete coverage. Please specify desired chain position as left or right.
